Matthew Hamill was a pleasure to work with on the major landscaping project of our 2000 sqm property. He understood our vision and worked closely with us to deliver our garden plan, making recommendations for changes so we could achieve our goals within our budget. After a succession of landscapers said our backyard was too big or too difficult to tackle we'd all but lost hope of ever getting our garden sorted.  But Matthew took one look and said "no problem, we can do this.....we can do that....or how about this... and if we do it this way it will be a bit cheaper".   After we picked ourselves up off the ground we hired him pretty much on the spot.  It is probably an understatement to say that Matthew has a can do attitude.  "No problem" is pretty much his mantra and nothing is viewed as a problem or too difficult.  It didn't matter what we asked Matthew to do he was happy to do it, even coming up with creative solutions to fix the mess left behind by others.  Nothing was too much trouble....or even any trouble.   Matthew's design ideas and vision truly transformed our garden (and our house) into a beautiful and functional space that we enjoy every time we set foot out the back door, or arrive home from work, or just wander around the beautiful paths he has created.  Matthew brought out the best in plants that went unnoticed for years in our garden, recycled granite into beautiful dry stone walls and reorganised the space so that the double garage and shed are no longer hardly noticeable instead of being the dominant feature of the landscape.  His paving and retaining walls are perfectly level and square and the curves are beautifully executed. We've had endless comments about the paving.   Matthew approached the work in our back yard as if he was doing his own yard at home, with absolute care. It is clear he genuinely loves what he is doing and enjoys achieving a fantastic end result.  We spend more time in our garden than we ever have before.  Our friends spend more time in the garden. We're overwhelmed with compliments and positive comments from people who see it for the first time.   Every part of Matthew and Adam's (Matthew's offsider) work is to the very highest standard one could hope for.  And Matthew and Adam were an absolute pleasure to work with.  Matthew turned up when he said he would turn up, he did what he said what he was going to do each day, he is a great communicator so we knew what was going on all the time and he was easy to discuss things with, always calm and friendly. There were no surprises, his quote was accurate and we really feel we got value for money.  This is the first time we've ever felt compelled to do a testimonial for anyone who has done work for us.  We have no hesitation at all in recommending Matthew to anyone who wants to end up with a beautiful garden.
